A hearing loop, also known as an induction loop or just “loop”, is an assistive listening system which can transmit sounds to the telecoil in a hearing aid or other type of hearing device. The hearing loop is a wire placed around the perimeter of an area, which when turned on transmits a magnetic signal which is picked up by the telecoil in a hearing device.
